I was under the impression that after 25 years of regular on time payments, federal student loans were cancelled. I have been paying for 25 years on my HEAL consolidated loan, 1st taken out from Sallie Mae and then transferred to Navient. I did work for the Federal Government for 17 years full time. Do I qualify for any amount of HEAL loan forgiveness?? Thanks. MJD

If i have my loans back in good standing, will I get my federal refund this year? I went through the loan rehab and now have payments set up again.
