My spouse’s pay check began garnishment in February of this year 2020, (we did recieve notification of potential garnishment but he did not act on reaching out to the agency for payment assistance? so they began garnishment) luckily with the pandemic his garnishment has been put on hold until after the new year, is there any way for us to get out of his pay checks being garnished in the new year?
Any advice would be helpful!

I had a federal loan from 12 yrs ago that took my whole take refund last year and I was shocked because I didn’t even hear from them since I moved from that state like 10+ years. Now I’m afraid to file because it’s still so much and I’m in hardship. I was a cashier and barely made enough. I have 3 kids I’m on welfare and now no income. I don’t know what to do.
