Your best bet is likely Public Service Loan Forgiveness. You need to fill out the employment certification form – after 10 years/120 payments, your loans are forgiven. Past qualifying payments count – so if you’ve been there a few years you might be at a good point!

Did you consolidate or refinance? Consolidation means you still have federal loans.

Do you work for a non-profit or for-profit? Are you directly employed by the hospital, or are you a 1099 contractor?
