Please check how much you earn in each platform for the same booking.
To receive the same amount you’ll have to put a higher price on Booking because they get fees for cleaning services (15%) and even for money transfers (1,1%) not to mention the 10% discount they give to THEIR clients of the Genius program.

Why pay someone else to manage something made very easy with the apps .. takes 2 seconds !

Personally, Booking.com has rendered 10 bookings for every 1 booking that I receive on Airbnb. Booking.com does a much better job marketing to potential guests all over the world. You can see this if you have ever used Booking.com for booking a stay as a guest. If you don’t book immediately, you will get messages about discounted properties in the area you were researching. Also, I have noticed once a guest checks-out and leaves a good review, I usually have another booking the same day or within the next couple of days. Finally, there is a lot less back and forth messaging with Booking.com.

First, the “extranet” interface is really complicated. Second, it is very hard to reach a human. We had a guest literally book our space 5 minutes after it was booked by another guest on Airbnb, and I missed the chance to sync calendars. They were going to charge me the difference when they rebooked him!

Also they do not have the ability ro pre-approve bookings which to me is a huge miss.

Avoid booking.com.

It blocks off calendar dates from the other platforms
