It’s so inspiring to be reading this as an adult who went back to school at 24 years old. I’m 25 now and I’m doing well in school. Thank you for the reminder that it’s never too late. No matter how old we are, dreams can still happen. I hope yours came true.

I went to Berklee College of Music, was living my dream, at the age of 23 but had to drop out after 2 years, even though I was getting straight A’s, because they wouldn’t give me a scholarship and my college debt was nearing $100,000. So I dropped out and threw away my dreams and worked at a bank. So sad! I ended up getting very sick because I was so sad my dreams were shot. Now I am studying piano, music composition, and voice at a community music school. I am now 40 years old and I plan to apply to another Music College in a few years and hope I get a scholarship this time so I can finish. I am way more advanced now and very disciplined.
