Shutdown access to account. Called, verified all information, verified all transactions, still refused to restore ANY access, said that all that information could be obtained fraudulently. Didn’t submit fingerprints or blood samples, so I don’t understand how else I’m supposed to identify myself. Customer service was impotent and unhelpful. Have had other problems with PNC previously, they’ve never been great. Recently went in during normal business hours (not near lunch hours) to open an account for my new small business. Was told the banker was “not there” but should be back, but don’t know when. (Luckily found a different bank that did have a banker to open the account) Should have seen the red flag then and moved the account to a bank that TRIES to look like it cares about its customers. Will be closing my PNC accounts, suggest others do the same. If you are thinking about opening an account here, DON’T.
