It’s a bit hit and miss, but for the most part you can expect to have problems when traveling abroad or just privacy conscious.

I’ve never seen that. They do limit what you can do online ($10,000 per day/transaction), but you can call and do larger wire transfers. They do limit the dollar amount to $1m.
