Thanks for sharing! Most banks create an arbitrary mobile check deposit amount. Depending on your banking history and relationship with the bank, you can get it raised. Some banks offer up to $100,000 daily limits, and other limitless. But I’ve also seen $1,000 limits too. It’s completely up to the bank.

So I thought it important to mention here. The issue I’m referring to is regarding the Mobile Check Deposit feature. As per their completely arbitrary and unexplained (I asked) policy, you can’t deposit a check of more than $2000. You could deposit one check for $2000 and another for $1500 to bypass this, for example, but you couldn’t just deposit one for $3500. Completely arbitrary, completely unmentioned, and with no explanation at all from their customer service.
