Now that they offer Schwab’s low costing Index mutual funds and free trades, it’s an investor and trader platform. Add on phenomenal educational material and good customer service to make it a very good choice.

The only weakness are no fractional shares for ETFs and increased slippage on day trades since they started offering free trades.

TD Ameritrade does offer loans out of their Solo 401k. You can see how they compare to other solo 401k companies here.
